Stitch of the Day #34 - Tunisian Before and After

First, I followed the suggestion of the PDF pattern and chained 20, rather than her 10 that Ms. W does in her video. If you're new to Tunisian stitching, it might be a good idea to do the 10 chain.

Here is my version:


Ms. W said she used the L hook with her yarn so the stitches were easier to see. I used my L hook, too, but with a J-hook yarn. It's the first time my Tunisian stitches uncurled when I was done. I didn't have to stick it under something to flatten it out. It's a neat stitch, very easy to do amongst all the Tunisian stitches I've done before. Still not a huge fan of the Tunisian stitches, myself, though.

All that aside, I think it came out nice. Yes, I switched colors, like her, after 2 rows, even though it doesn't look like it.
